Food for a Princess
The other evening Laura Rose (age 4) sat up to the table for dinner and announced that she didn't like "that kind of food." Stephen (age 5) said, "That's the kind of food Princesses eat." Laura Rose then stated, "Oh, yes, I do like that food." As she cleaned her plate she said, "That's my favorite food!"

Homeschool Life
When helping my 8 year old with his English paper today, I read the directions, "Underline the words that can form contractions." I then asked, "Do you know what contractions are?"
"Yes," he said, "Contractions are when you have a baby."

You Always Get More Than You Expect!
I was trying to print an advertisement for the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus for Grayson and Seth. The first copy came out and the colors were a little washed out but I figured that it was as good as the color would get. Then when I tried to print again, it jammed. It jammed over and over and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. I finally said to Grayson that I would only try one more time and then give up if it didn't work. And then it worked! It did not jam! Not only that, but the colors were perfect! I looked at Grayson in amazement and he said, "You always get more than you expect." I asked him what he meant. "Well," he said, "when you pray, you always get more than you expect. I prayed that the printer would work and it didn't jam AND the color was fixed too!"

Sweetheart
Laura Rose got on our bed to take a nap yesterday. She wanted daddy to know that she was sleeping on his pillow so I let her call him on the intercom in his office. She said, "Daddy, I'm on your pillow and I'm the queen of the bed!" After daddy responded she said, "Good night, Sweetheart." After she got off the phone she looked at me knowingly and said, "He likes it when I call him Sweetheart." What a case she is! (Laura Rose-age 3)
